The battery applet is virtually ready, and I am just testing notifications. When you plug in/out your charger, you get a toast message / notification about it confirming the battery status (plugged in / charging or discharging) in real time.
You also get similar messages when you hover its icon (the applet icon on the panel).
When the battery drops below a certain level, you also get toast message / notification. The low battery notifications start once the battery capacity drops below 50% and then 40, 30, 20, 10, 5 and once it drops below 2% you get a red alert and it’s asking you to save your work.
I will be adding some AC adapter and battery properties (available when the applet is clicked) and once that is completed, I will make it available for download.
