Snipping Tool Update is Coming to Orbitiny’s Screen Grabber (orbitiny-screenshot-grabber)

I’ve added a snipping tool functionality to orbitiny-screenshot-grabber. This way, you’ll be able to take screen grabs of a particular area of the screen. To do so, all you will need to do is invoke it like this: orbitiny-screenshot-grabber -s or orbitiny-screenshot-grabber --snipper  and that’s it.

The screen grabs will be automatically saved in $HOME/Pictures/Screenshots/orbitiny-screenshot-grabber/snipping-tool directory which gets automatically created.

It’s working and I am in process of testing it and I will post an official announcement when done. I will try to make the update available as a separate download rather than repackaging the whole package again and all you will need to do is just replace the orbitiny-screenshot-grabber executable in the orbitiny/usr/bin and that’s it and then you can just add a launcher button to it on the panel or create a hot key shortcut.
